London Cornish host Belsize Park in Regional 2 Thames action on Friday night at Imber Court, in a fixture that used to be a standing dish on the fixture card in the early days of league rugby. The two teams had a brief dalliance in London 1 South (pictured) before the pandemic hit and both have had mixed starts to life in the new league. Cornish are able to recall Joe Lynch, Alex Davey, Pete Brogden and top try scorer Robbie Mackay, while Niko Mirosevic-Sorgo is back after a injury lay off on the bench. Imber Court is not far from Thames Ditton station and, with a decent sized stand to shelter spectators, the free entry should encourage decent support on a night when plenty of the exiles former players will already be ensconced back in Cornwall beginning the 60th Anniversary celebrations.
