Last minute penalty gives 2s the win they need!

London Cornish 2s took the plaudits on the day when veteran Sam Wiltshire, who scored 13 points including the pictured try, landed a last minute penalty to give the side an 18-17 win over Rosslyn Park Bs in the MMT Prem, the result lifting the 2s up out of the relegation spots on the last day to 7th place but sending the visitors down. A nasty injury in the opening minute of the Regional 2 South East match saw the Cornish 1s lose 2 players immediately, the side going down by 30-33 to Beckenham to end the season in 12 place. The scores on the day came courtesy of tries by Matt Hakes, Dan Phoenix, Mark Osei-Tutu and Robbie Mackay, with George Kimmins adding 2 penalties and a conversion. Photos from both matches and a 1s match report to follow during the week.
