London Cornish took the lead with a converted James Squires try on 78 minutes (pictured scoring) at 3rd placed Trinity in Counties 1 Surrey/Sussex on Saturday, but coughed up a kickable penalty at the restart, which was converted to see the hosts pinch a 27-25 win. The youngest squad the exiles have fielded this season included 4 players making their first league starts, hugely encouraging for the future. The other scores came from George Bromage and Robbie Mackay with Mike Edworthy adding 2 penalties and 2 conversions. Photos to follow early in the week.
