London Cornish set out on their 2023-24 1st Round Papa Johns Regional 2 South Shield adventure with a trek across the 5 counties of Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire before finally arriving at Buckinghamshire to face Aylesbury from Regional 2 Thames on their well appointed 4g on Saturday. With a fair few injury absences following last weekends match, the exiles can call on the returns of Skip Adam Wheeler and flying former Redruth back Ben Boorman (pictured playing in the game at Aylesbury for Cornish last season). The Vets are also in action this weekend taking on Whitton Barbarians tonight at Imber Court in what someone has described to us as ' a Cup Final'!
