The engine room is stoked by the return of 2 Cornish locks from either end of the county!

London Cornish are able to field their first choice locks on Saturday as Harry Somers and James La Broy, who hail from either end of Cornwall, return at last for the trip to Hove in London 1 South. The pair (the tallest 2 lads pictured in Cornish colours in this picture from the reverse match) have not played together for 6 matches, the former away on holiday and the latter out with what was originally thought to be a season ending injury. They are joined in a much changed squad by more tenured exiles in centurion Will Carew-Gibbs playing in his favourite slot at 7, scrum half Rich Stephens, and on the bench the intriguing return to 1s colours after a 7 season absence of Giles Humphries, whose work commitments as CEO of the stellar start-up Mindful Chef rarely afford him the time to challenge for a 1s shirt. You can follow the scores on the doors on our twitter feed, while a round up of the days action can be found right here very late on Saturday night.

A preview of The Dukes Middlesex Merit Table Div 1 Play-Off Final will appear elsewhere on the site, as it merits its own section!
