The 1s go down to a 21-41 home defeat to unbeaten league leaders Cobham at the REMPF, though this game was in the balance until very late on when the exiles fashioned an overlap down the narrow side only to see the final pass intercepted for a try to the visitors, who nevertheless were well worth their win. The exiles points came courtesy of tries from Dan Nash (seen diving in for the opener), George Bromage and Mike Edworthy, who converted all 3. The 2s go down by 14-67 to London Japanese in the MMT Div 1, though with good reason! Beginning the day with a squad of 20, this was reduced to 17 by kick off and to 12 by the end of the game as a phalanx of bad luck and injuries (incl 2 broken noses!) took their toll.
