London Cornish Dukes go in to Finals day full of confidence having finished in 4th place in the league, the highest ever placing the team has achieved. The exiles premier social side had been promoted into the league in the close season, and have performed strongly, winning 11 of their 19 matches, before sweeping into the Play Off Finals with an extra-time win against HAC 3s. Captain Rich Fisher, in his last match in the post, is buoyed by being able to select a strong 20 man squad as they look to overcome a pacy oppo in Grasshoppers 2s. Fisher is keen to thank some of the lads who have put their bodies on the line in recent weeks, and who miss out through injury as a result; Jamie Saunders, Joe Welch, Pete Boele and Will Lewis (aka Sue Perkins).
