London Cornish is delighted to announce Fin Tweedie as our new 1s Captain ahead of the 2025-26 Counties 1 Surrey/Sussex season. Fin, who returned to action in January after missing the first half of the season through an injury, landed 5 tries in the 7 games in which he featured in the 2nd half of the season. The former Esher scrum half (seen on his way to the try line at home against Eastbourne) is currently recovering from another knock sustained in a 7s tournament but should be fit for the seasons kick off. He replaces Cornishman Alex Davey, who has been forced into a premature retirement following a series of concussions, but who will remain involved with the club in a new capacity in the season ahead.
