London Cornish begin their match day pre season prep with a visit to Grasshoppers on Saturday for a Tournament also involving the hosts, Battersea Ironsides and Old Colfeians. As ever we won't be reporting the scores as these matches are used in many different ways by clubs but it should give a hit out to the small squad on the day.

The Counties 1 South Plate 1st Round Cup draw has finally seen the exiles land a home tie and it's a cracker too, with Chiswick heading to the REMPF on Saturday 20th September. Its a long time since we faced our previous long standing rivals in competitive 1st team action and the DoR is going to have to fish into his record books to find out exactly when it was, but the 2s have been regular opponents. On the same day the 2s host Old Priorians Saints in the MMT Cup 1st Round, so it should be a great day at the club!
