RICHLY DESERVED HONOUR FOR DOR.

Director of Rugby, Dickon Moon was honoured at the recent Cornish AGM by being made an Honorary Life Member of the club in recognition of his long service and hard work for LCRFC.
Tim Evans in proposing The Old Patesian for life membership revealed Dickon had been 'careless' on his debut for Cornish in 2002 by breaking his arm and then breaking it again in his comeback match. Dickon retired and was offered the DOR position in 2003 much to the benefit of LCRFC.
In 13 seasons Cornish have progressed from struggling to field 2 sides at Surrey 3 level 11, to now 4 levels higher and 4 regular sides. A testament in the main to Dickon's efforts.
His humour, strength of character, passion, committment, coaching skills and generosity of time have enabled Cornish to make enormous strides. The last 2 seasons have seen the 1sts reach the league playoffs.
Cornish Chairman, Dave Fletcher said, "In my opinion nobody in our 54 years has devoted more time to the club."
The club's honour follows on from Dickon receiving the Paul Smales Medallion for services to Cornish rugby at Gorsedh Kernow in September 2015.
Even though another 'little Moon' is due soon, Dickon will be continuing his hard work at the club this season for which we are extremely lucky and grateful.
Well done Dickon, and thanks.
