Cornish head to old foes Chichester as 4 of the top 5 clash in London 1 South.

In a season of new opponents for LCRFC in London 1 South, it is also great to be returning to a few foes of old, and Chichester are exactly that! Cornish had a few seasons of great matches with the Sussex outfit in the late noughties, and battle is rejoined at Oaklands Park tomorrow. Cornish recall hooker Tim Homan in place of Jake Slade, who is working, and there are also recalls for Mark O'Leary at loose head, Nick Goss at 6, Dave Funston at 13 and Toby Fletcher on the wing. Finally set to make his debut for Cornish, and lurking on the bench, is the current Herts County back row and former Richmond and Old Albanians player Matt Chambers, who has recovered from a long term injury and who had a pipe opener for the Choughs last week. Chambers will be well known back home - he has featured for Herts on a number of occasions in recent seasons against Cornwall in the Bill Beaumont Cup (pictured), but has now seen the light and is donning the black & gold! The 2s are also in action, heading to London Scottish Thistles in Zoo Sports Div 3 East, while the Choughs aim to keep the winning run going when they host Belsize Park 2s in Middx Merit Table Div 1. Keep up to date with 1s scores on Twitter, whilst all the scores, news and views will appear here on Saturday night.
