Amongst cries of 'does he drink tequila?' and 'get him a Mexican hat', the DoR won a hotly contested renewal of the London Cornish Open, played for the coveted Di O'Reagh Trophy. 20 players set out on the Dukes Course at Richmond Park and, with Stableford scoring in operation, the DoR played off 28 and won it with 41 points from George Bromage and organiser Will Foubister, seen here presenting the award to the lucky winner. The last time the Trophy was contested was in 2005 when the DoR's fellow Old Aluredian (look it up!) Simon Mallock won it. Hopefully, the competition will once again take a regular place in the close season festivities!
